Really neither. I tried to lay under to get pictures and immediately got sicker than crap (I can no longer lay under cars work on them with my inner ear issue)
The winch cables go to the engine bay sort of along the top inner part if the frame and then go up right away, so they don't actually follow the frame at all other than to get under the grill and radiator.
Thanks! I saw your picture with the cables laying across the frame rails and heading towards the passenger side of the truck and thought you found an easier way to run them. I ended up running them back under the right rail and under the power steering pump and then up. I hear you on working under vehicles these days, I got down and up around six times doing this and thought my back was going to kill me.

This disappointing message is aimed at the Battery OEM’s out there…That is just a completely ridiculous price for a battery…let’s see, there still made out the same lead and soaking in the same acid as they were a F’n 100 years ago! At least if you’re going to continue down this path of rabid greed, try to manufacture something that will out live the same product that was built 20 years ago.
AGM is something like Absorbent Glass matting . And yes it holds Acid. Its sort of a shame of ya ask me . The idea behind the AGM is no maintenance.
Old time lead Acid batteries were prone to the plate shaking loose and shorting out the battery especially in rough terrain and that is why we have AGM batteries.
I did like the ability to renew ths Acid but it was also very bad for nature and also alot of people didn't clean the batteries out correctly and they was getting sub standard life out if them .

Why would you want the engine to shut down if you open the door after a remote start? Seems sort of silly, even counter-intuitive!
That would mean two starts each time - remote start, open door engine dies, start it again, drive away.
And people call Jeep's method silly......
But unfortunately that's how they worked. My 2017 Tacoma did it. As soon as you open the door it would cut off and you would have to restart. They stated it was to prevent theft. Dumb if you aske me.

How many of you know that the Jeep app allows you to lock and remote start and unlock with the FOB still in the Jeep.??
I'm assuming that's only if you have the app you have to pay for correct? I could use my app to do things for a while but I guess that was only for a trial period. It's not worth paying for it for me.

I changed the automatic transmission fluid, using my brother´s nice new lift. I put on a new updated pan gasket, installed a new Mopar filter, and filled it back up with Red Line D6 full synthetic (PAO base) Auto transmission fluid. I will do it again probably at 90k miles or 100k. This change was at 61k.

Looks good. I may go larger tires when the originals wear out. What part of CHS? That's my home town and visit often.
Thanks! I am up in Cane bay. Transplant from NY. I love it here.

Yea I figured with the NY sticker on the back glass. That's a growing area. I grew up West Ashley and then lived right down the road from you in Crowfield Plantation in Goose Creek for many years. I'll keep an eye out for you when I'm in town.

About 5.5. Maybe a little less. I'm going to see if it takes in a little more after a couple days of driving but it feels sounds and shifts perfectly. I doubt it will take much more if any. I'm just checking to be certain.

If you did the temp check method, then it is correct. 5.5 to 6.5 quarts is about what most see anyways.

To me its well worth it . Jeep comes with 2 keys . I leave in it. Lock it. Then in the morning while I am just waking up and its 30 degrees outside or 90 degrees . I start it and it warms or cools the cabin up or down. The Engine is warm the transmission has circulated alot of fluid. I take the other key ring hit the unlock walk outside hit the start button and ...Gitty Up !! I am outta there . It saves me at least 15min. Every day . And if I am away from home and Jeep is there and I forgot to lock I can lock it from many many many miles away as it is done through satellite. I also can lock it on the job in case I have case in there or valuables etc...I personally love it.

Yea I get that. I played with mine when I first got it and thought it was a cool feature but really don't need anything but the remote start. I'm usually in close proximity of mine so I just use the remote start on the fob to warm/cool if off before leaving home or work. Honestly I have no idea what the app cost. :)
