It's an 11" mirror, so it still hits the driver's sun visor, but is manageable. I have the direct mirror mount option, not the strap on method. I can get you more info if you are serious about the unit. Warning, it's not inexpensive.
I’m planning a visor modification. I like the mirror so much I’m willing to consider that.

Ive thought about getting one and mounting to my bulletpoint dash mount and removing the normal positioned mirror.

I’ve seen people, on the internet so not in person, do that. I’m not sure I’d get used to it. My thought was to get a new visor and experiment with it. I’d keep the stock ones for future mind changing.

I wondered how it would be getting used to it, but when the windshield is only like 16"(Not actual measurement, i just know its the smallest out there.) top to bottom I figure it may not be a huge adjustment lol

It was actually yesterday, not today. Got the Gladiator a playmate.
'88 Comanche with just a few mods. Surprisingly very little rust. I do need to do a few things for it to pass WV state inspection.

I hope to have similar in my driveway again. Mine is a 91 MJ.

Years ago a bunch of us in a Jeep club were doing a "lift kit party". I pulled out a few long extensions to remove the lower control arm nuts in similar fashion. No crawling under to hold wrench on. 5ft 1/2 extension. At first I got many strange looks until I went to other side of the TJ and straight across to other side. 🤭

That trick @ShadowsPapa showed, saved my bacon a few times already.

I think it will be fine . It looks to be more of a wide scratch ,and not a deep gouge.
Those knuckles just dont want to let loose the bottom one on the passenger side didn't want to break loose from the knuckle yet the top one was loose . We took a 4 foot Pry bar and after hitting the knuckle till I started to get scared I had the idea to stand on the bar ( 205 pounds of me ) and had my uncle hit upwards on the ball joint bolt itself . That is what actually got it to let loose.
Of all the jobs I have done to the JT knuckles rank #1 as the worst #2 E-brakes, #3 sparkplugs . Putting an entire lift on was the easiest thing 😂😂 .

Your bolt 12 point 13mm for the hub assembly you probably should replace that . If you can't get it loose cut the head off. The threads are in the hub assembly. Then when you put new hub in add new bolt.
I started keeping several spare ones in my XJ and a hub for similar reason. My spare tire on my TJ is a hub and set of the bolts too. That way I've not needed them. :like: Along with brake caliper bolts.

That's why people freak out on the FB pages - OMG, how can I get that nut loose? I don't have any socket that fits it!
And people with those sockets treat them like gold
I've got 2 of them due to misplacing one then finding it later. Had to replace u-joint in my Wrangler several years back and it was in storage unit 50 miles away. I ended up just pulling the hub with axle shaft attached and replacing u-joint. It actually happened to be the easiest time I had, reverse the hub in steel rim made fairly solid to beat it out.
1/2 long handle breaker bar and 6 ft cheater pipe.... on ones in salt belt or coastal a 12 ft cheater pipe. :giggle: then you can without hand.

I would be careful in how you present it and avoid talking about any slush and spraying the underside. Even though we have a "off road" vehicle, some dealerships get weird if they find water or mud intrusion into stuff and put the blame back on you and refuse a warranty fix.
if that was the case in New England nothing would be warrantied and esecialy in my area of NH most of the roads in my town are not paved add late winter early spring driving ... you park and it looks like you went to a Hoth / Dagobah hybrid mudbog ... with extra salt and butter on the popcorn

That is fine, was not stated as an absolute but there is plenty examples of people that have had warranty denied or flagged outright for bringing in a recently off road or water ford vehicle.

It is a YMMV use common sense. If you have a dealership, especially one that deals with primarily suburban metro driving habit customers, a covered in dirt, mud and debris vehicle gives them an easy thing to point to for warranty work they generally do not want to do in the first place.

As far s I'm concerned, I bought the vehicle to use it, so I'm going to use it. I just don't want to "end of life" it quite so fast. I laugh when I hear people say they don't want to rack up miles because it lowers resale value.

Not driving your vehicle to keep low miles for resale value is like not having sex with your girlfriend to save them for the next person. It just doesn't make sense.
I'm going to steal that one.

I did both the side seals and bottom seal, and then added the gap piece.

I did the seal all the way around, sides and bottom of my 2022 and my 2025 but added the gap shield, too.

The purple was tempting............. but I have to reserve that color for my wife. She likes the green on the JT.

Ready for winter now, I still need to jack it up to take some of the load off and measure for those spring spacers. this does drop the front a lot when it's on. Those spacers come in so many sizes, not sure what I need.

The front camera sure makes it easy driving up to the plow - done it twice now and both times, it was perfectly lined up and I simply drove until it was in the brackets, got out and plugged the cables in, went back and put it in float mode, then went out and pushed up and back on the top of the light area and it snapped the pins right into place. Couldn't have been easier.

Temps dropped like a rock so my tire pressure dropped as well from about 35/36 down to 29.
So it was also time to put some winter air in the tires. (and if you don't, you can't turn the wheels when it's on rough concrete)
