Haven't posted in awhile but couple weeks back I upgraded my wheels and tires. I got a smoking deal at my Jeep dealership where you buy 3 tires and get 1 for free. Couldn't pass on that deal considering I needed new tires anyways.

Wheels are KMC Grenade beadlocks. Wrapped on some 38" Nitto trail grapplers.

Next upgrade on the horizon are my tie rod/drag link/ball joints.

Did the dealership mount those? Mine will not touch anything but a factory size and bead locks make them curl in the fetal position.

Where has your research sent you on these? My tie rod ends are needing replaced and I’ve been looking at doing the whole shebang if I can make the numbers work.

No they didn't want too. And honestly I wouldn't trust them anyways. Would prefer to take it to a shop that does them regularly.

I've been leaning towards RPM for the drag link/tie rod and Dynatrac HD Balljoints. But I'm still researching.

Cool. Haven’t looked at RPM. I’m looking towards RockJock high steer kit and Metal cloak ballers. But keeping my options open.

Northridge 4x4 did a review on ball joints. Really good impartial review.

Well … “what did you do to your gladiator today”, not too it, but for it and the DW. Since we go to the beach a lot, sometimes we want/need a table. I saw the tire ones for about $100-$150 (black table picture)… I am cheap. So for $16 in PCV and a scrap piece of plywood. I now have a folding table for either front or rear tire. May even use a hole saw for cup holders. No real measurements, just kind of cut and fit as I went along. Need to cut down the plywood and paint, when its not 36F. The table is about 25"x27". Not only cheap and functional, but maybe 1hrs worth of time.

100000% worth every penny
So nice. Now I want one for the tiny tractor we recently got. I want one for every oil pan I have. I’d even love one for the PPE tranny pan.

I love seeing things get repaired instead of replaced.

I enjoys tinkering. Especially in this case under $10 vs over $500 if buying a replacement.
Me too. The is for the info they the motor is replaceable!
