Changed my air filter. The desert definitely is not kind to filters. Lost my second air box screw into some abyss which I find impossible because it's a straight drop down, but somehow it plinko's down into somewhere to never be found again. Two screws is probably enough, but if I lose another I guess I will have to break down and buy another one.

FWIW, the solve for the desert is a snorkel with the cylone intake.

I’ve also been super happy with my power core filter from Corsa. It’s designed for the desert. It just gets blown out with a compressor every one and a while. It’s good for 100k miles.

BOSCH LB24DP105 Dual Purpose Battery 105 Ah - 12.8 V Group 24 Lithium Battery, LiFePO4 for Starting and Deep Cycle. I think the battery will start the jeep, running a 1/0 cable from the battery box to the blue sea battery switch. There is a 50A connector on the battery box, going to add a 175A connector to the box to connect the 1/0 cable.

I can buy a lot of regular filters for the price of a snorkel. The cost to benefit is not worth it to me.

So your using their CAI ? Or do the sell a filter that fits in the factory box.

So I notice that it doesn't have a sound resonator built into the tube . Does it make it louder ?

A little throaty. But not in a bad way. Their dry cone filter makes it annoying at 4k rpms. But the power core filter sounds great.
