OK. The skid plate at the front that attaches to the bottom of the factory bumper. Figured that helped protect the front pumpkin...
It doesn’t protect the pumpkin (differential housing) at all. As @ShadowsPapa said, just the swaybar disconnect (rubicon or other having added it) or Mojave shock reservoirs.

OK, let me restate the question, does the front skid plate that protects whatever y'all want to say if protects that comes from the factory on a Rubicon front bumper work with the bumper on the Jeep I asked about 3 or 4 posts ago? Lots of correcting of nomenclature, but no answer to the original question...

Yes my truck came with the Jeep steel front bumper and also included the swaybar skid to protect the swaybar motor.

I'm hoping I'm understanding your question correctly. Plastic and steel front bumper have different air dams below the bumper. If you have a plastic bumper and want to go to a steel bumper, the plastic air dam won't work between the two, completely different mounting points. The steel bumper is designed to go with a steel air dam with brackets and hardware sold separately, and also need 4 nutzerts installed for mounting it. I did that swap 5 years ago. Here's the brackets https://www.justforjeeps.com/jl-jt-front-skid-plate-brackets-and-hardware.html

Do you have a Rubicon, and is the current air dam steel? If so, a steel Rubicon bumper will fit without needing to change the air dam.

My Renegade was black. One thing about black vehicles. When they are clean, they sure are pretty. I could wash/wax mine and it gleamed. Leave it in the driveway overnight, when you walk out, you're like "What happened ??". All that work for naught.

And HOT. I live in Texas where it get's hotter than the doorknob to Hell. The days of me owning a black vehicle are DONE.

But when clean....yeah, they look GOOD.
Yeah black is bad in the deep south , Im in the middle Atlantic and the granite crystal metallic isnt that bad at all.

There are weird factory configurations out there. Mine off the lot had a rubicon plastic bumper, with a steel skid plate protecting the swaybar disconnect motor. 2021 rubicon with plastic factory bumper. And mine had all the mounting nutserts and brackets from the factory.

They do sometimes get in the way of things there. @ShadowsPapa had to move his in to clear his plow brackets. He and I tried to mount a rubicon swaybar on his, but the reservoirs are in the way. I’ve heard other examples of why the reservoirs needed to be moved. I like my piggyback reservoirs for that reason.

Something like this could work though, with virtually any bumper.

And these brackets could likely be used pretty much anywhere.

Today I fixed the wiring for the driver's rear door

No shit. Dome light didn't work for that door. Stealership wanted to replace the door latch actuator. No thanks, I'll figure it out. Rear door was easier than driver's front door. Both were about halfway, where the strap bends when door is closed.

Nice work. I really need to check my passenger front. The mirror won’t adjust on the down/up axis. I’m guessing a broken wire based on your post. How did you open the fabric cover?

Im running Anti-Rock up front and if I ever need to plow snow in SoCal then I’ve got a lot bigger problems than placing a reservoir. :CWL: Have you ever had an issue with the piggy back contacting with anything else at flex?

At full flex I sometimes rub a decal off, but I could adjust the mounts to fix that. I just haven’t gotten around to it. Many inches away with a connected swaybar.
