Cleaned MAP sensor, upsized to 37s, and reworking rear seat delete. Lot more to do with the rear seat delete. Building a rear wall section that will house all of my onboard power stuffs.

One side had a small hole in it that must have been enough. I never had issues with how it ran, and I haven't seen a difference with it clean. This fall I plan to replace the intake manifold and walnut blast the heads, so I imagine that'll make a big difference getting all that gunk out.

Wife saw a Willy's Glad the other day with the 4 Wheel Drive sticker on the tailgate, so now there is one on ours. This is a pic from the Jeep.com site I grabbed...

Used some Pecard leather dressing on my leather rear seats. Spent $450 on these seats which is still cheaper than Bartact or PRP seat covers. So easy to clean. This Pecard stuff was recommended by a friend and really makes the leather softer and a little less slick. It is no longer shiny. This pic was minutes after application.

Removed the AEV drop brackets and installed Clayton Adjustable CAs on the front. (no pics)
Installed the Synergy Steering, a rack, and a tent. My co-oworker had the tent so we will be seeing if we like it.

I think I finally got my engine/trans skid adjusted to where it's not rubbing the oil pan.

Chopped the tusks on the front. Didn't want to remove the sway bar from the bushings to remove the mount to get a cutoff wheel in there, so... plasma cutter made quick work. The rear of the winch seems supported enough for the commute back and forth to work for now. I ordered up some 1/4" steel plate and picked up a press brake I'm going to use to bend up new mounting tabs that'll support the winch further up on the frame.

Measured the rear droop for limit straps and ordered some up.

Washed the salt off.

Thermal insulation and finally the CoverKing liner. The thermal insulation part is where you really need to take your time and don’t mess it up. Once that stuff is stuck, it’s stuck. This is also the main purpose behind the project so getting it right is slightly important. The less gaps between the sheets the better the insulation value of the melamine foam.

Wish I could say the CoverKing fit like a glove, but it did not. It’s probably because I added a lot more material to the top but everything did not line up like it was supposed to. I will say the materials used are of a high quality and way better than I could have done on my lonesome. I just had to go and do the Jeep thing and make it “better”. A little nip and tuck with a carpet cutter and I’m pleased with the results.

So the Coverking was installed over the Butyl insulation?

Over butyl sound deadening and melamine foam. If just over the sound deadening it would have fit perfectly. The melamine added about 1/2” of material that threw things off a bit.
