Removed the wipers and wiper cowl, dropped the windshield, cleaned every damned thing that you can’t get to with the windshield there, cleaned the inside of the windshield, and installed a new windshield cowl to get rid of the light gray one after 5 years of CO sun.

If I’m waiting for parts, this damn thing is getting a serious refresh while I wait.

Looks like a distinction applied unit. Looks great. Colorado UV fading is no joke.

I’m not opposed to black accents. I actually like them. But that spot just gets killed, and the surrounding cowl panels are painted, so I did it.

Cleaned and put protectant on my Sunrider. Took the hard top off and placed in the storage bag, put silicone on the seals and installed the Sunrider for summer. I'm exhausted and need a beer or maybe two.

Installed LED takeoff headlights. Got a great marketplace deal, $200 for the LED headlights out of a wrangler. My 2021 Willys had the necessary 4 pin headlight harness already in place. Installed pair of take off LED fender drls a couple of years ago. Jscan is my go to.

I’m not opposed to black accents. I actually like them. But that spot just gets killed, and the surrounding cowl panels are painted, so I did it.

I agree with black accents, but with a black Jeep I tend to start getting gray accents. Black accents on gray looks pretty good. Gray accents on black is not, in my opinion. Especially when they turn that ashy gray the sun tends to bless up with.

When I ordered my top, I also ordered the cleaner and protectant from Bestop. It's their brand.

Got the winch wired up. Used the Warn solenoid. Wired that to aux switch #4 with ignition on. Had to make a bracket for the solenoid. That's mounted to a bracket already on the Jeep.

Checked the trailer plug for power with the key off. Got power. Was reading that on some vehicles. There's no power unless the key is on. That would make a difference if you're charging the battery through that plug.

Great point. Gray on silver wasn’t looking too hot either.

Ive had their windshield bumpers, key hole covers, antenna cover, and cowl with topo hydro dip for over a year and all are in great shape.

Thos are pretty much all the pieces I’m doing as well. Might do a grille along with it. I chose Lost Souls for my graphic. I have to order Granite Crystal as my base color though or graphics won’t show up. It works fairly well for black.
