1. Yes but allowed.
2. I would use 3m foam tape so that it can be removed with no damage to what it was stuck to. Location looks good right there.
I’m actually tempted to drill out the eyes and add red LEDs. Then I can ditch the “Gladiator” on the hood and get “Diesel Demon Duck” in its place.

In addition to the Starlink 12v conversion I added an ice maker the other day! :CWL: It runs on 12v. Happy wife, happy camping! Or something like that. Will provide some ice for my rum or whiskey drink at night as well as keep my wife's water cold.

The wood pieces it sits on are attached to the platform. They have holes drilled in them where the ice maker legs land. Helps hold it in place along with the strap over the top. They also lift it enough so I can open the hatch to get at what is under the platform without moving the ice maker.

I’d love details on the dc conversion for Starlink. Are you running the mobility panel, or the roaming?

Replaced factory front grille with Satin Black Mopar Grille (from BAM) but painted one of the inserts with Rust-Oleum Real Orange to match the Mojave orange trim accent. Installed Steelcraft Stubby Bumper and Badland ZXR 9500 winch but re-spooled with 100’ synthetic line.

My guy had to trim off about an inch of the factory skid plate for the bumper to fit properly.

Love it. If you’re going to take the ice maker, you might as well take a pizza oven too, like an Ooni Karu or even a Trailfire Grill. Nothing flexes harder at a camp site or trail side than enjoying a wood-fired pizza and a nice scotch on the rocks while other people are eating pop tarts and mountain house freeze dried “fiesta rice” with a nice glass of warm water.

Edit: I’m for real with this camping ?!

What brand is that pistol holster ?
Do have a link ?
thank you
Holster itself was slightly modified from one I got off amazon.
Amazon.com : IWB Kydex Holster Inside Waistband Concealed Carry Custom Fit for Taurus G2C/G3C/G2S/PT111/PT140, Right : Sports & Outdoors

I wanted that holster specifically because of the thumb release retention. Much less chance of it flying around the cab in the event of an accident, and it's super easy to use when drawing.
I had to cut the belt clip off of it with a Dremel and use some small bolts/washers and nuts to attach everything. The holster has adjustable cant, so getting the right draw angle was easy.

Installed some @Diode Dynamics elite series headlights this week. Major difference in light output and I had LED's installed in my old lights. Packaging was done very well and the install was very easy. I had one question that I called them about and they were quick to answer the phone and help me out. You can see the difference between my old set and the Diode Dynamic lights in the last two pictures.

New bumpers!

Rough Country tubular front (today) and rear (last week).

Still need to wire up the front lights. Going to try to reuse my Diode Dynamics fogs up front utilizing the OEM harness. Center light will be hooked up to Aux switches.

The rear Rough Country lights are already wired to Aux switches. Plan to swap out to Diode Dynamics if the mounting pattern is the same.

Not sure if a winch is in the cards, which is why I like the fact that there isn’t a giant gaping hole in the top of the bumper.

So how much height did you lose with the added weight to front and rear? Also, can the supplied fogs be wired to function like the factory fogs? I didn't see wiring instructions on their website.

I didn't measure before and after, unfortunately.

I didn't even install the lights - I'm using the DiodeDynamics SAE fogs that I had previously, wired using the OEM harness that I took from the old bumper. While you could potentially wire the supplied front lights to work as fog lights, I don't believe they are configured for fog light use, so that may be problematic. Says "off-road use only" all over the place, so they are probably flood lights or spot lights. The supplied wiring instructions are generic with an add-on switch that would need to be pulled into the cab. As long as the electrical needs are within the capacities of the OEM wiring, you should be able to wire them up to the stock fog light switch and turn them on/off from the dash.

Hope that helps.

Attached my EZ-Pass senso to the windshield and removed my owners manual for the glove box.

Tinted the front windows to match the rears.

I don't get why vehicle manufacturers don't do this as a matter of course. Maybe it's because there is a preponderance of different laws that don't allow more than 35% on the front windows. If so, that seems kinda stupid to me.

I actually use the Trail Fire Grill now. I was hesitant because all the videos online were put out by the company itself and it seemed like typical social media marketing bs. But I’ve been really pleasantly surprised with it. It’s a little more compact than the Ooni which I still use at home. But it’s also a grill and disk cooker and fire pit so I’m not hauling a single use item around with me. I prefer the wood fired pizza and the TrailFire grill cooks pizza more like an conventional oven than a pizza oven, but the pizza has turned out really well. I’m using real pizza dough just like with the Ooni. This isn’t frozen pizza.

Diamondback Switchback cover installed (LOVE IT), and finally took a photo with the Rubicon bumper and Baja LP4 lights.

Should be done now!...

How are you finding the clamp/locks for the switch back? I like the idea of a secure folding top, but was wondering how sturdy and/or easy it is to open/close.
