You really thought the very first thing they did on the very first day after a four week shut down was go straight to your Jeep, past the other 20 Jeeps in QH and get it moving? I know exactly where your Jeep is, as does the sales rep lol.

I'm glad I'm not in sales 😂

And for everyone following along, the more misc crap you add to your order, the more likely it is to get knocked down in audit.
Scott called me, not the other way around. He said he was concerned and contacted the regional rep. No, he doesn't know and said the status hasn't changed in weeks. .
Yes, I do expect people to back to work and pick up where they left off like all of the rest of us did for years. Not act like they are exhausted from hangovers.
It was already sitting there for weeks before the shutdown.

They used to crash them into each other at the upfitter all the time.

In about 2022, I pointed out, why are you guy's running them in a through, through the plant, then all the way back up to the same door? Just put a door on the other end and run them in one end and out the other, instead of in and out the same door at a 90 degree approach angle.

Couple months later I was there, they had a out door in the far wall, I said, oh you got another door, neat, why is it in the side and not the exact opposite wall though?

Oh, that door was already there 🙄 We just had it blocked with some boxes 😂
As someone that works in an adjacent industry building things with wheels in a large scale....

....this is painfully relatable 🤣

I'm totally aware of how Jeeple feel, you paid a premium price for a premium vehicle and a premium experience.

Your Jeep is going to be in audit until it's been dispositioned, no matter how many people you call or rage posts you make.

The wait is part of the price you pay for rushing out to have the latest, greatest, coolest thing.

Again, he called me, I didn't call or nag him
Our last three took 4 weeks fully loaded. He's not used to them taking this long and he's been at this over 20 years.

Look at the bright side.

It may arrive (eventually) and then with it being an XR with the 'ugly hood'.

You may not even want it 😬

Not meaning to pour salt... just humorous whimsy to lighten the frustration because COME ON, MAN.
Jeep Gladiator what does it mean when jeep has been in inspection............ {filename}

Did they forget to build it? Accidentally deliver it to wrong customer? Just give me (generic "me", not me specifically) information. Like my debacle with personalized plates in WA. I never got them. For TWO YEARS. By the time I actually got a "resolution" from the DMV, they said I had to re-apply.

At least you don't have to rebuy the Jeep, amirite? ;)

What I don't see being said, but maybe truthful? --

"Sorry for the delay, Bill. The upgraded performance hood we're giving you - at no cost, by the way -is a different weight structure, so the mechanical-assist installation devices required for assembly had to be manufactured. This delayed the production, and then was further delayed by the delay in manufacturing the afore-mentioned installation device, with the unfortunate timing of tariffs on the global economy. Thank you for your patience and welcome to the Jeep family! Please download the UConnect app to your mobile device before taking delivery of your Jeep brand Jeep product!"

Y'all just couldn't hire two people to put the hoods on manually for 6 months?
Y'all couldn't work out a deal with the U of Toledo to have some football players come lift some things for a few days, donate some money to the school, and have an excellent PR campaign?

Does anyone have a map of the production facility, or the production flow route? I think someone deserves a custom Trail Badge.

But seriously. Anyone? I'll title it "Toledo Production Facility & Inspection Queue."

Indeed, just that easy. All you gotta do is.

Can't imagine why they don't hire random people from the internet to run these companies and pay them the big bucks. They always have it all figured out. Amazing we can't somehow make a love connection between the internet CEOs and these multi billion dollar companies to really boost production and sales.

Be making a million an hour and selling them with one tons and two doors and Hemi's for 78.94 a piece in a couple weeks.

It's more the vacuum of information that leads to the imagination running amok.

I used to be in production. "Where's my s**t?" was a common question because I worked on the special ordered product line.

"Well, Bob, you see, Cliff, the nepotism hire of the production manager who seems to be the only one in the world who can successfully use a TI-85 calculator, can't seem to remember that the material is .325" wide when he makes the radius calculation, so the design in the sub-assembly is wrong. But we don't know it's wrong until we assemble the product and see none of it matches.

We have to send it back and have it remade. Cliff was sick Wednesday, so the sub-assembly had to wait another day for the new plans. And then Marsha, the new hire, ran in front of the forklift, which had to stop suddenly, and the pallet containing the correctly remade subassembly to fall off and break, along with 5 other sub-assemblies. All that had to be remade, again.

That was Friday afternoon. Management gave swing shift Friday off months ago for a morale reward, so we had to wait until Monday to have day shift build the sub-assembly, but they had a machine breakdown and that put production behind by four hours."

Bob: "Oh."

Again I say. Being in a similar industry, this is all so laughably relatable.

It's funny how one 'little' thing spiraling out of control turns into - well this is now next months problem.

That's what I told my wife - after Jeep went crazy and insisted that the only way to get something the ordinary street driver would want is to order a trail ready lifted Jeep.
She's apprehensive already because the fact that it sits 2" higher than her current Jeep was snuck in on us.

But there's the good side - the more they delay - the better because it's too damned cold to be stripping her current Jeep, taking apart the dash to remove the 3W window module and other things - plastic breaks when it's 10 below 0. So if it waits until March, I can deal with stripping this one in warmer weather, they get a higher mileage Jeep as a trade - free miles for us in a way.
So the delay isn't hurting us - it's helping in many ways.

But really - think about it - if it's a simple nut or bolt thing, like it was with my 2022 JT - it takes an hour to resolve. My 22 was in inspection maybe a couple of hours - I have the complete computer screen showing every single code, every step, and exactly how long it sat in every step - and inspection didn't even take half a day.
I still suspect that it's a bigger thing than a cross-threaded bolt to sit over 2 weeks .

I'd bet my sales guy was wanting to find out what's up because of year end sales numbers, month end numbers for December and was thinking - great, there goes one for 2025/December, lost sale for that month.
He really had little reason otherwise to "wonder" - they gotta make their numbers! He lost a done sale in December. Now is probably wondering about January. I bet he calls me again.

This is for the 2022 JT I had - no sitting around at all -

You know those 3.6L's.

Probably ate an entire cam on first start up.

Back in line to be fixed 🤣

But seriously though. Hopefully it comes back on radar soon and when you get it, you guys like it.

LOL - that's funny because that's sort of one of the things - gee, i wonder if it rattles and triggered a MIL on inspection - new engine! HA.
If it's electric gremlins, they might as well part it out and start over.

I bet it's the aux battery..............

Oh, that old thing?
Yes, and they are arguing about the best way to get to it. It's going to committee to decide, or they will check with us here
