What holds up the FACTORY headliners?

I tried to get some patches to stick to the factory black panels that came with the Jeep but they just won't stick. Tried a myriad of 3M products but the heat just makes them fall off after a while.

I am tempted to pull the headliners off and attach a velcro sheet to them.

BUT I want to make sure that they can come off! I have had a look online and other companies seem to use adhesive strips to attach them. Does Jeep do the same? Or can i give them a tug and off they come?

It's just Velcro mounting tape. Probably closest to what 3m calls "extreme" mounting tape

Oh nice! Yeah I started to pull the corner of one of the panels and wasn't convinced that what I was hearing was the sound of velcro "tearing" haha

I was thinking of switching to Hotheads just for the purpose of redoing and hopefully sticking better.

Mine stay up as well. Never been an issue

Right by the back window. Mines been falling down. Can't seem to find a suitable replacement for keeping it up. Tried Velcro sticky back. Nope. Suggestions?
