My wish list is pretty simple. Why not give the aux switches the ability to turn on/off when other functions are activated? Like high beams/ low beams (for fog or driving lights) This is available on dodge trucks so they are doing it already.

With a Tazer you can turn on highs w/ fogs & driving lights...Along with a laundry list of other features you can access.

I like those fobs, but they don't have any for remote start vehicles...
I have had these fobs made for both of my past jeeps as well as my Gladiator. The guy who makes them is local to me here in Northern Michigan and I absolutely love them. Yes they have the remote start option and a storage place built in to the back of the fob to store the actual metal key portion so you always have it to lock up the glove box etc when needed

My Gladiator has the front trail camera which is a great feature. However, I have not found an easy way to access it quickly. It takes many steps in the menu system to get to it. Alternatively, I can put the truck in reverse and hit the front camera but as soon as I put it in drive, the camera goes off. A quick/easy access push-button on the dash would have been nice for times when I need the camera for a quick maneuver.

If there is a faster way to get to it that I am not thinking about, please share!

I would not have gotten the brake controller even if it was available in February. I want the 12 volt outlet and plug in a connector for the radar detector that also has two USB ports in it. I got an inexpensive brake controller and harness, put it on the knee bolster under the steering column. Easy installation. I did not want or need electric lockers and the max tow was originally open diffs, but I would have paid for a Detroit Locker option.

You can go to the apps and move the front camera icon down to the task bar at the bottom of the screen. Thats what i did till i got the tazer. With the tazer you just double tap the mute button and it turns on the cameras for use at any speed for any length of time.

And as far as people saying that some of the features would jack the price of the jeep up, some of them would not jack the price up if fca would stop the greed and cut out the “jeep” premium you pay. Some people have listed some pretty wild options on here but alot of them are pretty reasonable considering what the jeep already cost. Like the brake controller on the max tow, thats just a safety thing. Also the key is dumb. And for the price i paid i should get vented seats, and a power back glass.
A hemi would also be a nice option but its not needed. Heck the factory 3.6 makes more power in other vehicles. Im pretty sure it boast 305hp in the challenger right? Why detune it in the jeeps to 285? Now i think my gladiator is plenty peppy as its stock for now, but at times have found it lacks low end torque even in 4low when off roading. And i have a rubicon with the lower transfer and 4.10 gears.
This is my first jeep and i can say i LOVE it. Cant imagine not having a jeep now. But being as its my first it lets me look outside of the stupid “its a jeep thing” saying and see outright flaws as they are.

Indeed.

I wonder if that is an item that can be reprogramed with something like Superchips Pulsar. Or is it too ordinary of a need?
I keep wondering if the wheel switch for the stupid cup holder lights could be used for the bed lights any body here with wiring knowledge have an answer ?

Awesome-thanks for the guidance. Will give this a go. Will try the Tazer as well.
