What is a good lift for a 2222 Gladiator to clear 42”-44” tires?

I currently have a 4” lift with 40” tires. Eco diesel with banks tune and Dana 80” rears with Dana 60”s coming for the front. The axles are about 4” wider than stock. How much lift to get the larger tire? EVO makes 6.5” but not for Eco Diesel.

Stay away from fabtech, I hate mine received it and shock was leaking. Filed a warranty claim and never heard from them. Extremeterrain.com took care of it when they didn't have to. If your actually using it offroad Evo or tereflex. If it's just looks buy a rough country they got great customer service.

Off road a lot, that was the reason for the Dana 80 upgrade. I went through 3 sets of the Dana 44 with 513 gears in 16,000 miles.

Isn't the 2222 model have hover technology?
Offroading will become trivial when ground clearance is just a function of increasing the anti-gravity setting using your NeuraLink.

AKA: Where we're going, we don't need roads

You can do a fender chop or go to a high line fender like motobilt or nemesis make if you want more up-travel.

If you want even more up travel and a taller ride height you'll probably be looking at a coilover set-up.

What 44 would you run and why? I'm going to be going to a 42 when the new Baja boss is released but I can't imagine any scenario where I'd want/need a 44.

A 42 already has issues rubbing control arms, tie rod end, etc. I image a 44 would be a nightmare to clear.

Thank you all for your replies, N.C has mud and mountains. I have had many lifted trucks in the past but am new to the Gladiator life. Not really into the overland experience but I think it’s really awesome. I’m not that hard core, more of a beat the hell out of it for a day and fix it. 44”s would be ridiculous and cost more than the rewards, 40”s and 42”’s seem to be the sweet spot. Have had 44”s on trucks in the past and were awesome In deep mud but sucked pretty much every where else. With the high fenders and extra inches on the axles I could probably get a 42 with no problem if desired.
Thank you.

You are right Chief, if you guys don’t run 44”s in Utah you probably don’t need them anywhere unless you are a Florida Mud Dawg. I appreciate your response and would love to wheel there some day.

I’m in the center of NC, to the east we have bottomless mud to the West we have rocky terrain. Not sure why terrain you guys ride in Montana. Maybe the same.

I would like to think that in the year 2222, lift kits or 44s will no longer be required. Instead you would just adjust your elevation knob next to the hydroboost button.
