So I used a LED light powered borescope to check inside my fuel filler neck due to having a fuel overflow issue randomly. This is what I saw. This is the very upper part of filler neck at or just below bend downwards. You can shine a light and see the top part of this irregular looking crap
Is this paint breaking down due to gas running over it or something else? Is it normal?
I will say I’m the first owner of the truck, it has 3500-4000 miles on it, no questionable gas stations, sits in garage 6 out of 7 days a week, and no angry exes out there. 99.9 percent sure nothing foreign was poured into tank.
