Fuel economy with trip to Terlingua/Big Bend from FW. Bed/cab

full of gear etc.
Highway speed limits generally 75-85 mph, 80- 90* temps with wind. Sustained high speeds 20-30 min. could elevate engine oil temps to 242* coolant 222* pyrometer running 1100* . No detune (noticed)
Big Bend National and State Park trails and roads. 37" M/T'S AT's. Stock gears, Black Rhino

22.9 is my worst tank yet. I typically run it down to about an 8th of a tank and fill up. With that being the worst and the first tank ran 28.9 it has a lot to do with traveling on a 4 lane highway as opposed to up and down curvy mountain roads.

Diesel Willys, stock tires, @80mph, approx 2200rpm, i get in the 23-24mpg range/hwy

Willys w/1.5 leveling kit. Also, it’s very flat here in Florida and that 30.7 was a straight shot from bucees in Daytona to key largo.

Just traveled from south of Pittsburgh to Mountain Home Arkansas. 850 miles. My best mileage was 22.5. That's with a 4" lift and 37" tires. Same trip last year was 29 mpg.
