What Is Your 'TEMPT' Color?

I REALLY wanted Gator, with Gobi being a VERY close second but from what I heard from corporate, supposedly they're not looking produce those until later next year now. Obviously I wasn't willing to wait so hence the red.

There's always paint job options down the road (or maybe a second Gladiator, LOL). From what I saw of the pricing on full body wraps, I thought it was a bit outrageous.

Can you elaborate on what you heard from corporate? I'm waiting on gator to order. Do you work for fca?

I am going to do my best to wait for Gobi. I do like the Sting-gray and it is tempting to just put that order in but I really think that I would shed a tear at the first Gobi I saw in person. I am not really in a hurry other than I just want one. I am in Florida so top off season isn't a concern as it is for some of you northern folks. I never had a top for my TJ other than the safari top.
I find it hard to believe any rumor that says next year. I suspect we are looking at maybe a month or so delay. This could also be impacted by a strike but they are at least a few weeks away from that. Since FCA won't say anything to even their dealers we are just left to guess. But they are building GCM LEs now so small steps.

Ditto... I basically thought and did the same thing and got the Red LE... Hopefully, I can get a second Gator Diesel when it comes out in a couple of years LOL

So what is your 'tempt color'? How long will you wait?

I bought my Tempt color, Billet Silver. First choice was Sting Gray....but honestly glad I made the swap.

Did they out gobi on a JL or something else. I've been afraid it would be too light for me. So I'm ordering a sting grey. If gobi is delayed that long it'll be a choice made for me

Gobi is on the JK, and from the pictures it looks like the exact same color.

2017 and 2018 I believe.

So far Gobi is the color I have been looking forward to. Helps that I am in a holding pattern to order up a new truck for a bit with job changes possibly rolling in. Anything in the Grey or Silver category is tempting to look into for more immediate chances though.

i am going to wait until end of September//early October for Gator... if I cannot order by then I will probably get billet silver or something else idk.

i won't give my full opinions on silver vehicles
just to keep it simple, I think the gladiator in silver looks good.

Here's the thing: I think the JT looks good in any color and I've never said that about a vehicle before. The vehicle is interesting/attractive enough on it's own, I guess.

Gobi is first choice. White was my early tempt, and I ordered it on day one...then left it at the dealer, as I just couldn’t give up hope yet. I will learn patience.

Sting grey is great, but too close to my Anvil JK. Hydro was tempting, but it’s delayed too, and though both of my boys love it, my wife said “no. You want Gobi.”, and honestly, if I get a bright color, she’s likely to steal it from me.

I was very tempted by Sting Grey. Very. Ultimately chose Punk’n and I’m glad I did. But I still look twice when a SG Jeep passes by.

I keep waffling between Gobi and Gator. Might come down to how Gobi looks with the brown leather. I'd prefer the light Gobi (I think), but might be too much tan. Will go with black hard top and black fenders. Seat covers in summer.

I think I just talked myself into Gobi . . .
