Not talking about the gas cap itself but rather the metal flap that you pop open to get to the gas cap. Every modern car pretty much has that metal flap locked by a power solenoid that works with the power door locks.

. you have to pull apart the rear trim to hide the wiring and switching OEM style 
That sounds like a good plan but I don't get out in the dark very often. I'm leaning toward a snatch ring to go in my recovery/log pulling bag. Cheap Amazon lights. Exzeit 5" driving lights. I don't have the money for Baja design lights. Tinted the lenses myself.
