I will have had my Gladiator two years this coming October.

Yesterday was the first time I noted water leakage in mine.

My new neighbor, oddly enough, has the INDENTICAL model, a white Overland, just like mine.

He has been to numerous dealers, all trying to fix his leak issue. Windows replaced, sealants, and he's at his wits end, and they've really booger'd up his top with the repeated failures.

Shouldn't have to go through these things when you pay so much for a new vehicle.

I don't want to go through these hassles, his vehicle has been at the dealer for extended periods of time, and he's rightfully pissed.

As mine is a daily driver "Maul Crawler", I thought of putting shield of some type to offer some deflection.

I found this.

What say you, except in wind driven rain, might this help?

Thanks folks.

What the hay, found one cheaper on Evil Bay, and pulled the trigger.

Hard to see exactly how that ebay thing is shaped but the water is generally getting in at the top edge of the glass. It gets into the gap between the glass and the hardtop and then (due to a manufacturing or production line defect) gets inside. I can't find it right now, but somewhere on here there is a member that used a specific type of weather stripping and stuck it in the crack between the top and the glass and reported it had stopped the leak. I believe they were doing it as a temporary measure until there were better reports of dealer repairs. You could also contact JeepCares on here from the start to get FCA involved from the start....especially if your neighbor has already struggled so much with the dealer.

Edit - unless you are sure that your leak is coming from your slider window......in which case maybe that deflector would help.

It seemed to be coming from the slider, which I've never opened, dry above, wet below. Truck was parked in a nose down attitude at the dealer.
