Sorry I can’t add much to the search for skinny 39-40’s- but running 37x 11.5s and could use some steering boost while in the rocks!

What are these Bogger like tires you have? I like them!

They are Badak X-treme by Accelera. $1100 for 5 shipped to my door. Loud as hell, took 11oz to balance one, not the best in rocks/snow but I am still happy.

Maybe someone can shed some light. I may have a chance to get a set of MT baja boss a/t 35x10r17 at a great price. My issue is that my wheels are 17x8.5. The specs on the MT website state the acceptable wheel width is 6.5-8”. Looking at the other sizes it shows that the typical max acceptable wheel width is 1.5” less than stated tire width. A few even 1”. I.e. 35x12.5r17, max acceptable wheel width is 11”. I emailed MT but haven’t heard back yet. Don’t want to overthink the .5” but don’t want to waste the dough if I’m going to run into problems. Sorry if the question is rambling, just got off my shift and the brain is in low gear. Thanks in advance!

I too want the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 255/85R17 (35x10.0x17). and am SUPER JEALOUS you have that opportunity. I called Belle Tire and my choice 4x4/Jeep shop... they BOTH said they have NO ISSUE mounting said tires on 17x8.5" wheels. Do it!

I switched tot he Kenda Klevers. 35x10.5x17. I had 35x12.5x20s. The difference in ride quality is shocking. Steering is Way better. Interstate travel is good again, holding 8th gear and knocking down 17 mpg. It is quiet. The front shot showing both wheels, the left one is the 12.5 ridge grappler the right tire is the Klever. The look is not everyone's cup of tea, but I am digging it.

Oh, I like it. A lot too even. Those will likely be my choice as well. Also on 0 offset, making all the difference with the “look.” It’s all just waiting there in my shopping cart. You cannot see me currently flipping off the Michigan cold and snow though. Funny not funny.

Actually I am running the +18 offset, I wanted to try an get everything under the fenders. Tired of truck getting instantly dirty anytime there is moisture on the road

KMC 720 Roswells. Went for simple and light. I want this to look more like a military build vs Brodozer lol?

Pure happenstance (once in a blue moon I get lucky). I went into a local mechanic. I was asking about wheel alignments (A few bad experiences with the big chain shops). I guess a guy bought them and they weren’t aggressive enough for him. A lot of guys around me want really aggressive tread. For me it’s mainly pavement, some mild off-road and snow when it’s tis the season. Yeah, all the shops I asked about these tires couldn’t get them. Unfortunately the product shortage continues

Thanks. I think I’m going to. Everyone says I’m overthinking it. I don’t work in the best of neighborhoods and the way the streets are is basically off-roading. Last thing I need is running into a problem there. I’d wind up a small blurb on the evening news,”local man’s body found……”

Well no need to be jealous. As my luck would have it the guy changed his mind and picked them up. Back to the mind numbing searching.
