Pulled my JT into the garage and did an oil change. Fired it up on completion to make sure of no leaks. Noticed a puddle of water on the garage floor, so I followed it up to see where it coming from. See video:

Note, the AC definitely was not on, it was about 55 degrees so the heat was on low fan. The plug in question looks to be directly under where the front passenger would have their feet.
Can anyone shed some light on what the heck it is and why water would be coming out? I’m stumped.

The AC compressor is used during various cycles besides just providing cold air to the cabin.

I get water out of the exhaust system at several points, especially noticable after the first start for the day.

I’m used to condensation from exhaust, totally normal.
I’m not sure why the AC compressor would be used when AC isn’t in though. The compressor robs power, and thus drops gas mileage. That just seems counterintuitive to all the other changes Jeep has made to try and improve the mpg.

The A/C runs in the defrost settings to help keep the windows from steaming up.
