hello may i be as so bold to offer some unsolicited trivia about "prerunner" lights? i am familiar with the toyota pickup with three lights in the grill, but the rest of us install them after wheel/tire modifications to be in compliance with 49 cfr 393.11. this federal regulation went into effect 12/25/68 with regard to newly manufactured "commercial" vehicles over 80" in width. they were loosely referred to as roof or marker lamps. the regs have been updated/modified over the years to where it now includes what most would perceive as noncommercial vehicles such as a dually pickup or even the ford raptor. if it is over 80" they are required. larger tires and rims on a gladiator will exceed the benchmark requirement in a heartbeat.Bad idea for a daily street driver. I wouldn't want to be behind anyone with a bunch of tools strapped to the tailgate. I also wouldn't want to put my tools on the outside of my truck like that.
It's the perfect product though for guys that like to ride around and attract attention from most drivers who just think they've got too much time on their hands. You could also mound "pre-runner lights" underneath the mesh shell to use as accent lights and attract even more eyeballs who will no doubt be super impressed with your "Rig".
First, I don't need it. Second, anything mounted on it is going to be so filthy dirty after five miles on the trail it will need a good cleaning before use. Third, I don't like adding weight to the very back of the JT. Fourth, it's ugly in my opinion. Other than that, ...............Okay, I'm not always up on the latest trends, so maybe I missed this and everyone else has seen it. I'm not sure what to think about it. It doesn't help that the before and after photos are not even the same color Gladiator.

Not a chance I'd spend that much money on it. I see some attributes for something similar. To haul a trail trash bag(s) on it or tow straps, winch line, shackles when off-roading for quick access stuff. A High-Lift jack would not be bad there but opening and closing may be a PTA plus a lot of wear and tear on latching mechanism. Definitely needed for the ones that have the silly front grills though.
