Yeah I think these both are way over others. I didn't realize just how far till recently. I'd be interested to see how others measure up that are common like the Mopar 2", RockKrawler 3" & the MetalCloak 3.5" as they are probably the most common 3 spring lifts that people do.
Agreed, maybe we need another thread that defines the standard for measuring to get others input.

I was thinking the same thing. Figured maybe taking pictures of the test methodology to keep it as apples to apples as possible.

Yes agreed, your idea on measurement so yours to start (I don't want to steal your idea). I can chime in with my measurements.

I am also interested in repeating this with my top & doors on to see the diference. I always run a bit heavier for the sprung weight to most because I have the full Motobilt Skid Plates so I have about 250 lbs added there, but I am not sure what the doors & top weigh.

Ok curiosity got the best of me and I had to measure this while at lunch.

center of hub to plastic border on bed - 39”
Center of hub to top of hood (top point in front of windshield clips - 38 1/2”

the challenge is the front measurement is still only relevant on a rubicon as the hoods are different. Rear should all be the same.
I have the Mopar 2” on my Sport S Max Tow. No extra spacers or anything. I used a piece of pipe since none of my 2x4’s are perfectly straight. In the front I took a level at level and measured

Center of rear hub to top of bed (bottom of pipe pictured) - 38-1/8”

Center of front hub to top of hood (bottom of level pictured) - 36-1/4”

So I am waiting on a sponsorship deal with Icon.
https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...20-up-gladiator-25-stage-4-suspension-system/

if I add the extended bump stop spacer kit, I'll be able to go 37s
https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...ories-20-up-jt-extended-bump-stop-spacer-kit/

as for driveshaft. how much do those run? And do I have to do it because I'm going to run 37s or is it a bigger lift thing. Since the lift is only 2.5" will it be okay?
Be advised, the lower control arms in that lift are NOT adjustable. That seems very pricey for a kit that is not adjustable. Just making sure you're away of that. I don't think I'd spend that much on a lift that's non-adjustable. Personal thoughts...

That may be true, and this isn’t exactly on the topic, but have you seen their billet aluminum adjustable rear arms with plastic sliders? They are awesome!

Those are nice, but $900??? Screw that! I can get a full set of EVO rears or a the RK Pro-X rear upgrade for less than that!

whats a decent brand lift under $2000. Preferably with shocks and track bar. Want to go with 37s so not sure if 3" is ok.

Called Fabtech today. The guy there said that their 3" will only fit 35s. And 37s i would need to get high clearance fenders. I want to keep my painted ones so wont change them out.

Wheels and tires are ready. Just need to figure out the lift situation.
Have you looked at the MopAR 2” lift. About $1,600 ish. And you can run 37’s with it. See the pic below
