whats the best security bypass and OBDII plug these days for JSCAN

So I had a 2020 and had a veepeak OBD and some soft of bypass cable. Well, apparently I left it in the 2020 when i traded it in over a month ago. Now I have a 2025 so its been a few years since I bought one. Whats the 2 things to get these days for JSCAN?

I know in past years it seemed that some brands worked better than others and allowed access to things some didnt etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m interested in the answer to this as well.
Am I right in thinking that JScan is less intrusive than Tazer (and others)? I have JScan for my JKU and it seems to change only what I want changed.

I do not know about "best", but to date, there has not been a single thing the cheap $15 VeePeek Bluetooth OBDII dongle off Amazon has not done for me. Same with the cheap $15 bypass cable.

yeah, just get a compatible bypass cable, as for the BT adapter, unless you have a real need for some of the super high end stuff, or unusual access, save your money and get anything JSCAN says will work.

I have two - I mostly use the expensive MX+ or whatever it's called. Maybe I should pass along the cheaper one I have. It works - unless you are super snoopy and get into things maybe you shouldn't mess with LOL.

I've been passing along some of my smaller extra parts........ I need to consider that one.

If what he's linked works for Hootbro, it will do whatever you want to do.
