other than looks do the louvers have function?
I didn’t do any scientific research but from what I can see on my dash temp readout (only coolant temp for the JK) I didn’t notice any difference at speed. But I can see the heat radiating from the cutouts when stopped. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d do it again In a heartbeat. Have had them on for around 70k miles and really like the aggressive look more than anything.

By far trying to install a turbo on my 02 TJ 4.0. I started it two years ago and it’s still not finished…😂😂😂😬😬😢😢😭😭😭

Installing supercharger was easier. Unfortunately, I have the newer ECM, so I had to take it off. If I ever get to put it back on, I'll have it done in record time.
Honestly, you might want to skip it altogether. Seems like the tuning is going to take awhile to get right. And that’s with the unlocked models…

Tailgate conversion on a 2017 JK. Kept oem tailgate, made it work like a truck, oem locks and latches still worked. Such a pita getting everything lined up and square.

Toss up between cutting into the hood on my 2 month old JT for a snorkel install or putting a rear tire carrier bumper on my '05 LJ where many of the holes didn't quite match up. The bumper was a PITA and took forever. Wiring a topper brake light into the JT was a bit of a PITA too because the JL wiring diagram that's available doesn't match up behind the cab.

Drilling first hole in new Jeep. :giggle: ;)



Now seriously doing gear swap & Trac-Loc in D44 in XJ. time wise followed with R.E. hack n tap SYE on 231 T-case.... that output shaft was a b#### to cut and tap. Most frustrating fixing death wobbly in said vehicle. Lots cussing in few languages even on the R&P job.

Most recent but not a uncommon job... replacement clutch in LJ in Jan. 2020 at night in mud, freezing rain with ramps and limited light and no transmission jack. FYI: sheet of plywood, rock rails with rub bars are your friends with H.D. Ratchet straps from one to other to cradle transmission/ T-case on board(s).
The R&P and hack & tap was reasons, I bought a transmission jack and built the wood bench that I did. I hope the ass that got it needs it enough to enjoy it.
