I picked up a set of 1.5 spacer but was told I need to cut the studs to make these fit. Can I fit 1.75 spacer without modification of the factory studs.

I'm sure this is answered somewhere but I was unable to find it.

Thanks

Have you test fit them yet or is that based on something you've heard?

I ran 1.5" spacers on my JK, they worked fine. Perhaps the studs on these JL's and JT's are longer.

I have 1" spacers on my 2015 Camaro SS. The wheel studs protrude slightly past the spacers but the factory wheels have reliefs in the back of them that allowed for it, so they worked fine despite the stud sticking out.

Do your wheels have any relief in the back of them to allow for studs to protrude through? If not, see how far they protrude and if its less than a quarter inch then go with 1.75" spacers.

The studs on my JT are long AF. I got Bora 3/4 spacers and they'll fit if i wack a 1/4 inch of stud off, so i just ended up going to 1in. however im using OE wheels and they have cavities that the protruding studs can fit into. Not sure what wheel your trying to run so idk.

I was having new tires installed and that's what I was told by the installer. I did not see it for myself. Maybe I'll pull a wheel this weekend and take a look.

Thanks for the information.

Most newer or aluminum wheels will have cut outs in the back of them where protruding studs will tuck away and have no problem...

Yes. 1.75 spacers require zero cutting.
