Any lift on that setup? Looks goodHad the same dilemma. Went ahead with my 35's with new 17" rims, 0 offset. Made sure rim was appropriate for the tire. Factory rims are a little narrow.

I like that look. I can appreciate black wheels, but I prefer the silver/aluminum look.Had the same dilemma. Went ahead with my 35's with new 17" rims, 0 offset. Made sure rim was appropriate for the tire. Factory rims are a little narrow.

2.5" Mopar lift. Had the dealership install so covered with warranty. Had 33" JL Rubicon AT's rims and tires on it when I did the lift. Found a good deal for the Cooper's so pulled the trigger.Any lift on that setup? Looks good
Thats what I am thinking going with 33's. I really would like to get some new rims but still use my current factory tires and burn up their rubber for a bit which I paid for and then put on some 33's but not sure if it would work.I'm happy with my 33's on 17's personally. Much like others have stated though, to each their own!![]()
As long as you get the same diameter rims I don't see why not? My Gladiator came with 17's and I retained using 17's with my new wheels.Thats what I am thinking going with 33's. Manual or auto? I'm planning for the future (likely a couple years out at least) and wouldn't mind 37s if I don't need to regear. 33s already bog the manual in 5th and 6th but I know how to downshift so NBD as long as 1-4 still put power down. Each of us have our own reason for going with a certain size tire and wheel.
Symmetry and functionality are key for me. I wanted to go 35's before I bought my JTR but when I saw them live on a Gladiator they looked small on the vehicle.
Because of that and since I have a Rubicon with 4:10s I went with 37s and think that is the "right size" for the vehicle.
Man that is me. I could live with the stock if they were black but they are bright silver and clash so badly with my Sting Grey JT. I had originally budgeted for a certain about of stuff thinking I was going to be able to get a soft top but that didn't work out and now I have to consider purchasing one with the money I budgeted for new rims. I'm contemplating buying some rubicon take off's if the price is right but I am ok with the stock tires for now but want to move up to 33'sLove my stock Black wheels but that's just me. Probably the first time I've been satisfied with stock wheels and how they look on something. If I had the silver stock ones they would of already been off my jeep. I'm a fan of black or smoked out wheels and on white it looks awesome. I'm keeping mine and I'm currently running 315 70 17 BFG KO2S on them without any regrets.

Paint the wheels if it's that big a deal and you want to save for other things. Heck if you wanted to just give it a try a few cans of black plastidip and half an afternoon your wheels will be black and can be changed whenever you like for $20Man that is me. That looks good! What tires did you get and what lift did you get? Each of us have our own reason for going with a certain size tire and wheel.
