Help PLease.

Please confirm which Bestop soft door material matches the OEM roll up tonneau cover & cab soft top?

Black Diamond or Black Twill ?

Yes, I realize all of these are made by Bestop, but there is a difference between the two.

Thanks in advance.

I can't speak to the Tonneau cover but the soft top question: last time I checked, Jeep offered "standard" or "premium" soft top material. Here is what I understand is the Jeep to Bestop translation:

Jeep = Bestop
Standard = Black Diamond
Premium Black Sunrider = Premium Twill

edit: I just looked on Jeeps website and it appears that they no longer offer a choice of soft tops for Wrangler OR Gladiator. Seeing that, I realize my response is worthless, assuming that you have a 2024 Jeep. Through 2021 (definitely) and possibly into 2022 or 2023 (checked some 2023 window stickers and soft top material upgrade was an option through 2023), the soft top grade will be shown on the window sticker.

Oh snap. I forgot I have a Sun Rider for hard too. It is in storage in my basement because I bought the full soft top later & have it installed 9-10 months per year.

BuyHold, I do not have any documentation of what soft top I have as I bought it used. I happened to find it on FB marketplace. They sell off (separately) the soft tops they get in on trade, if the Jeep also has a hard top. I bought it in spring of 2023, so hard telling what year Gladiator it was associated with. I'm starting to think it is a "Premium Twill".

I have a 2020 Gladiator, but I bought the soft top totally separately.

Ask @Bestop to make sure, but I think you’d want twill. My twill doors match my twill sunrider perfectly.

What keeps throwing me off (second guessing myself) is the Quadratec site lists the "Sailcloth" top as more expensive than the "Premium Twill". Price difference of $3457.79 to $2623.14.

Hello !

If you provide the part number(s) and/or links to the product you are referring to either via this chain message or a PM, I can look into the reason for the price difference.

Generally, the price difference between the Sailcloth top and the Premium Twill top is due to material differences and intended use. Sailcloth is typically thicker and more durable, often providing better insulation and soundproofing, which could justify its higher price. Premium Twill is known for its upscale appearance and high-quality fabric but might not offer the same level of durability as Sailcloth. This distinction likely accounts for the price variation.

Thank you,
~Lorraine

I didn’t know about sailcloth. Thanks. I’ll consider that for my next bestop purchase.
