I will be out in AZ visiting family next month. I'm wondering how doable broken arrow would be solo without a spot or buddy with winch. Won't have any friends along this trip.

Yes, but it's a pretty cool little trail. Make sure to hit all of the side areas and don't forget you need a permit which you can get at recreation.gov in advance.Sweet I'm guessing soldier pass is even easier?
When will you be out there? I've been thinking of hitting that trail with my JT. I've done other trails, but not that one yet. Seems quite doable.I will be out in AZ visiting family next month. I'll be out the last week of July. On the fence about going out to sedona due to gas(I'll be in tucson) but hoping it'll be doable. When will you be out there? I've been thinking of hitting that trail with my JT. I've done other trails, but not that one yet. Seems quite doable.
I’m in Tucson. Not sure if I’ll be available, but send me a message when you’re here and maybe we can do Rice Peak or something.I'll be out the last week of July. On the fence about going out to sedona due to gas(I'll be in tucson) but hoping it'll be doable.

Planning on going on a Wednesday for that exact reason!Be sure to take your time and enjoy the scenery and take a lot of pics. Trail easily done with one. Avoid weekends if at all possible.
You're going to have a blast. My son and his family will be moving to Tucson this fall. I will be plaining a trip out there in the spring. Looking forward to it. It will be different than the beach and trails in Fl.
