I don't own one anymore due to it not working with kids, but at some point, once the jeep is paid for, I'll end up with another one. It was a blast to drive and I got great gas milage.

How about a little sports car and an EV for errands around town? Each vehicle a specific tool for specific tasks.

Yes it is. 2021 XC40 Recharge. A very good compliment to the Jeep.
Our compliment is the XC60 recharge. It’s also fantastic. Fast and quiet, and uses next to no gas. None locally. None for you at all with your 40 though. How’s the range?

We get about 220 miles from full to empty during the summer. That drops to 160 in the winter. For real life use - 90% to 10% - we get about 180 miles. All good. We have free charging at work and a charger at home, so we are always ready to go. It is nice to have a car that doesn't need gas. And, of course, holy crap is this thing fast! I suspect the power of the XC60 is great as well!

We used to have a full EV (Chevy Bolt). It’s range was almost identical. This one is much nicer, and we needed to be able to drive it farther. We just did 500 miles this weekend and didn’t need to fill up. It’s crazy fast. 404hp combined.

Honestly you've done wrong buying a gladiator in the first place. I'm not hating at all, but buying another vehicle and paying for it will cost much more, regardless if your spending more or less on gas. Sell your glad and buy something else just my 2 cents

I imagine for a lot of folks it has nothing to do with saving money.

I have an SS Camaro because I want one and its fun for cruising fast and playing at the track.

I have a Gladiator because I like to explore off the beaten path and buy junk at Home Depot.

I also have a third vehicle parked at another house all together I haven't driven since February. Some folks just have a car problem!
