I’m afraid to ask, but here goes. There appears to be something whining in the engine. It’s constant, except for stopping for a few seconds before returning. I’ve attached a video with what’s happening. Only 5,800 miles on it, so luckily whatever it is will be warranty. 2025 Willys Glad.

I have a whining sound too, but it will happen on the highway after the Jeep has been running for a while. The sound will increase upon acceleration and then decrease when I let up off the gas. Not sure if the 2 are related, but I would like to hear people's thoughts.

Really need to hear it to provide a better answer than best guess. A whine while on the highway, I’ve had that. Was transmission.

By you saying whine on the highway could also be a “moan”, perhaps a diff. A high pitch whine, transmission. That’s my best guess without hearing it.
