For amount of work/R&D labor parts and warranty, that’s just for jeep you need to have a factory also with all the things that go into that as well. BUT try doing it yourself. When the 3.6 STB l’ll take the 5.7 so I’ll have a capable truck.

Did you know that with an unlimited amount of money you can basically order anything at a dealership from the factory?

I bet the "starting at $79k" is the cab and frame portion of the build. Engine, trans, and bed are the options that need to be added before it totals out to $145k.

But you can FINANCE!!!

Most people don't know what you can order because 1) they don't think to ask and 2) don't have money. When you buy custom Audis, for example, you can have it painted in almost any color that is offered by the VAG family of companies.

Some dealerships will sell anything they can have built - so, "you can order from a dealership" but did it come from the Toledo plant, or - did the dealer have a partnership with another company that took Jeeps or Jeep parts and did that?

Yes, this has been true going way back. I remember a wealthy guy who special ordered an early 90s 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban with a big block 454 when they only offered the 350.

Agreed. No way you can get a Hellcat swapped, bobbed gladiator for less than a 392 Wrangler! It has to be $79k+ on top of the cost of a gladiator.

Around home. A lot of dealerships teamed up with Rocky Ridge. There is a shit load of lifted Rocky Ridge Fords and Chevys running around. Back in the early '70's. You could order a new big block Chevy Vega from Motion Prefromance dealership. Yenko Chevrolet would build the engine the way you wanted it.

That’s not the dealership, that’s a garage that specializes in jeep mods. They are on YouTube. They were working on that gladiator she is showing in their video at the time. So if you can order from the factory, it’s outsourced.

Chevy learned. In 1995 the 454 was standard on the 2500 Suburban. My dad had to search high and low for one with a 350. He didn't want the gas MPG penalty of the 454 and absolutely hates the diesel smell, so the 6.4 (?) was off the table.

I see the only fans girl, I click off.

I still don’t understand the fascination of a bobbed bed. People complain about a 5ft bed not being enough then turn it into a 3ft bed 🤔 also the Wrangler exists if you don’t want the overhang, idk that’s just my opinion though
