I really don't get why there are so many comparisons?
Coming from a Chevrolet Suburban and crew cab hd I chose the Gladiator.
We have in the Gladiator the best of all worlds. Doors off(legally) doors on. Partial roof off or on or go totally topless.
Different trim packages but the ground work is still a 4x4. Unlike the blue oval. Sure it's a brick that sucks in the gas mileage but we all knew that when we bought it.
Sure there are probably better options , but what other vehicle can you drive that makes everyone smile especially kids and the ederly when you have the doors off.
You can have a true offroader or the mall crawler. Young, old any race we all wave and smile.
You can spend all your money on her or him and still smile when you see it shining like new or dripping mud. You can't do all the things we do to our Gladiator to a normal car.
The Jeep was used by the greatest generation to ever fight in a war and come home Hero's. Saying that all Soldiers, Firefighters, Law Enforcement and all first responders should be Hero's not some over paid athlete or singer or whatever an influencer is.
I truly love this vehicle and to me there is no Comparisons.
