Why I like Craigslist...

The cool thing I have always liked about Jeep is the ability to pick up new (take-off) parts from other Jeeps (typically I watch Craigslist).

This is the Sport S that I purchased up a couple of weeks ago.

So far added...

New Overland Wheels and Tires (4) - $400*
Rubicon front bumper (only red hooks visible in photo) - $150
Rock Rails from Rubicon - $100

*Sold my Sport S wheels for $300

A few years back, I snagged 4 full doors, a hard top, and a soft top from a JKU for $400. Seller was a scorned wife whose soon-to-be-ex-husband knew his Jeep was about to be repo’ed, so he stripped the Jeep and left it in the driveway naked. She said she knew the parts were worth a lot more, didn’t care, and didn’t want more money...just wanted enough cash to cover 2 bills that were due.

I love Alaska, but sometimes I wish I was in a more populated area so I had more Craigslist options. Trying to score the 3 piece s tut eel bumper. Way to go.

Great job on getting a good deal! Were the parts from a gladiator or a wrangler? Just wondering what parts from a wrangler will fit. Obviously tons more wrangler parts available right now.

These all came from Gladiators.

On your search type in Jeep gladiator or Jeep gladiator parts and it will pop up never tried just putting in Jeep parts I will have to try that and by the way Yellow 1098 I noticed you were on here last night at this time are you working or just a night owl I am at work now so I keep checking in on the forum

I have an App on my Iphone (CPCraigslist). It searches a bit broader of an area. I actually found the tires and wheels in Tampa and the other parts in Jacksonville. Little bit of a drive but worth it for the deals.

What's up man.....thanks for the info....I agree it's definitely worth the drive...last night I was just up late researching and thinking about this purchase...which dealership did you get your gladiator from around town?....I'm always checking Craig's for all kinds of car stuff but never find what I'm looking for ...it's definitely an art form
