This is my first Jeep ever. My 23 year old son finally got me to leave my beloved RAM 1500s. I loved those trucks.... Sigh.... Anyway, I went with a '23 Rubicon 3.6 that the dealer had on the lot for a steal. It's fun and I'm not looking to go off road. We'll use it for some camping and trips to the beach. I will need to invest in some cross rails and kayak stands for when we hit the state parks. Other than that, not too much will change. So far, it's just been Oracle Bi-LED headlights and fog lights, seat covers to protect from the dogs, side steps, Tazer JL Mini, and bed cover. Tail lights should arrive soon. I did see a post here about swapping out the microphones for noise cancelling ones since it's impossible to talk hands free at highway speed. So, here she is...

P.S. My wife insists on buying ducks whenever she sees one. Also, the Jeep wave is real and I feel silly.

Nice Gladiator. Now that you have broken the seal (made your first mods), it's too late to say it is finished. A better saying might be, "It is started."

Yeah right, sure you won't. You are probably in the lift kit section right now.

How do you like that bed cover? I keep bouncing between a retractable with canister and a Bak Revolver. I can't make up my mind.

I had three Bak Revolvers on my RAM trucks. They’re good in theory, poor in practice. The vinyl that they use peeled back on every one that I owned. They don’t stay in place and will shift over the course of just a few months and become misaligned so it won’t roll right. Eventually they won’t lie flat. When you go to warranty the cover you wait months for the replacement. My local dealer says he won’t even sell them anymore. I like the Roll n Lock so far.

I don't need a full sized truck anymore so I moved on to the JT from a series of Ram 1500's & 2500's.

It took a bit to get used to but I found a new hobby (offroading), I expanded an old hobby (camping with a teardrop trailer) and a new skill, parking in smaller places. ;)

Here are a few of those Ram trucks:
