Winch plate options

Why mess with the stock plastic bumper? You can get an OEM-copy of the steel bumper for $400, including the winch plate.

I did it because it cost me less than $200 for the project, and it gets all sort of positive feedback from people who see it. Great conversation starter. Looks nice too, in my opinion.

If I had to guess somewhere between 100-120lbs. The bumper was probably around 70-80 and the winch was 30-40. I’m in the diesel and I don’t think I lost more than half an inch of height with it.
