My driver rear door window got smashed in and I figured I'd save myself some money and replace it myself. For those wondering, it was VERY easy. It took longer to vacuum the glass out of my truck than it did to replace the window which only cost $150 for the tinted Mopar glass. With all the emboldened criminals out there these days, I figure someone else will be in the same boat wondering the same thing soon. This video done by member @shockerracing shows exactly how to remove the rear door window. Super easy.

Good to know. My comp deductible is $200 (lowered it when i bought a jeep due to my state not having $0 windshield replacement) and I'd gladly do the work myself to save $50 and more importantly a claim on my record.

I got the driver side front broken out in South Minneapolis yesterday. Keep yours safe!
Sorry to hear that, that really sucks (and is annoying to have to go and fix)

Door handles pulled on many times from alley prowlers per my Ring camera, but luckily nothing more. I don't keep a single thing inside my Jeep which is probably why my risk is reduced.

What's funny is my doors are usually off. Because it was forecasted rain all weekend I put them on. A bummer on timing, but makes me wonder if it would've happened sooner if they were on more often? Ha!

Of course I spoke too soon... had a driver's side window smashed last night in our driveway. Luckily it wasn't the Gladiator but instead a rental car. Still a hassle nonetheless. My wife is finally getting to the end of dealing with so many instances of crime.

I'm over in the Hiawatha neighborhood. From the sounds of it, it could be the same crew that got you as got us. Over 25 vehicles by my latest count were hit over here last night.

They just got me last night. Broke both driver front and rear and broken glove box handle. They used a key programmer in the OBD2 port to try to steal it but I have a 4122 killswitch that saved me. Wiring seems fine. I’m debating just using my $500 deductible since it’s all 3 of those things, plus the key reprogram at the dealer. Insurance is sending a tow truck now because my fobs no longer work.
