I've had a Trigger 4 Plus since March, 2021. Worked great...until...I disconnected it so I could install a new battery. Hooked it back up and it stays in the on position and am unable to turn it off. Been corresponding back and forth with Oracle Lighting customer service and they've determined it's fried. Since it has a 3 year warranty they are offering me a new one with $54 off the initial price which brings it down to $305. That's still $45 more than what I originally paid for it.

Is anyone using anything other than a Trigger for a wireless switch? Just wondering if there are decent products out there that are cheaper.

I have been using a Voswitch UV120 for nearly 4 years now in my Xterra. Moving it to the Gladiator (bought in June) soon. It has been great. Bunch of options: you can group the circuits; set how they behave (momentary, on/off, multiple flash patterns); display can be one of four different colors.

It is listed at ~300 on Amazon at the moment. This is a 12 circuit switch. They have smaller ones for less $$.

I’ve been using Garminā€˜s PowerSwitch. But they haven’t had any update to their software in over two years. Novsight now has a switched out, You can use voice commands with. But it’s not wireless. It still has buttons, but you can also use voice commands, which is pretty awesome and it’s a lot cheaper than most other products out on the market with those types of features.

I installed this on a car trailer for operating winch, ground lights, work lights, and warning lights.

The little remote it comes with works well. Has a magnet on the back too.

These are some great options. Thanks fellas. I think I'm going to stick to the Trigger. Wiring/harnesses are already in place. It's an easy swap. That alone is worth a little extra.

Hear you on the wiring!!

That warranty does not sound like much of a warranty if you have to essentially pay for it again. Have you tried contacting Trigger directly instead of through Oracle? Wondering if the middleman is the issue.

I think Oracle bought out Trigger. When you go to the Trigger website it directs you to Oracle customer service. It sucks. More than likely it was my fault it fried. I probably crossed wires when unhooking? Don't remember doing that, but why else would it cook the wiring? Just gonna have to be more careful next time.

The rep for Oracle must have been observing this thread. They got a hold of me and are going to offer a new Trigger for the same price I bought the first one at.
