I don't need cutsie wolf characters, I need the unit to reliably operate. Not randomly switch camera views and randomly decide not to recognize the rear camera. It would be nice to not have to do a full reboot on it every day

I like him! Seems a little bit shady tho, I'd be worried that you might not trust him to be there when you needed him the most.

I really wanted to get your product but I don't think it was compatible with 2025 Active Drive Assist System. I also saw that you now have a front camera. I hope you come up with a system I would definitely switch from Vantrue.

Have you reached out to their customer support? They are excellent. I had an issue with my first tripro and found it to be with the OBDII power supply I got and it wasn't compatible with the tri-pro and they refunded the money for it and then the issue continued and they replaced the entire unit and I haven't had any issues with the new one. It has been working great since then.

He should look older and wise. Has a regular 9-5 job but loves to be outdoors on the weekends with his family. Enjoying wheeling on off road trails and camping in remote areas.

Definitely reach out to them. Some of the best customer service I’ve had on a product.

Side note: did you try reformatting the SD card? Wife had an issue when it first was installed in the 4Runner but after reformatting it went away.

I reached out 10 months ago. The "fix" is to unplug the camera and plug it back in. And for the random camera switching, the "fix" is a reboot. It fixes it every time. For a day or three. Unless it's below freezing.... Then it requires a reboot every time I start the truck. The reboot fixes it, therefore there is no problem. It's fixed. :facepalm: Needless to say, I'm just dealing. It feels like a cache or ram problem. And I did update to the newest version. So, I've just been dealing until I take the camper shell off with the warmer weather.

If it’s been that long and consistently malfunctioning send it back for a replacement. That is not normal. I have 2 of them and have not had that level of problems. I’m not tech savvy by any means so that would annoy the crap out of me.
