Got mine installed, a little disappointing to be honest.

You dont gain anywhere near whats advertised. You'll get a little on the drivers side, not much on passenger side.

The angle of the mounts must be off as well. I cant turn my drivers side out any farther than whats pictured. I thought maybe it was installed wrong so I pulled it out, reinstalled OEM mirror and when all the way out it would go farther, reinstalled Wolfbox mirror and same result as the first time, cant move it out any farther than this. I sit fairly close to the wheel, so the taller you are/farther you sit from the wheel the less along side of you and the more passenger door view you'll get since it wont adjust out and farther.

You get what you pay for. I'll keep em for the blue tint.

Looks a bit wider. Not so much on the downward angle though. Some 4X company needs to make a trail friendly mirror that gets that angle without the crazy down adjustment. I’d love a mirror that would show me where the slider and rear tire is and all the way up to my roof rack. Kind of a niche thing but it would sell fairly well for some.

I definitely see a difference in them. It’s not a massive amount but considering how small our mirrors are I’m not surprised. I’d say that amount that’s changed would make a big difference if you’ve got a trailer behind it. I pulled this around Saturday and I was having a hard time with watching it and making turns. I kept thinking to myself that if I had just a little bit wider field of view it wouldn’t be an issue. I’m not looking for SUPER DUTY or the RAM moose antler mirrors but just a bit more would go a long way. I think I’m gonna give them a try.

I feel the same way as you. I wasn’t expecting miracles or suddenly to be able to see a car 8 lanes over. But a little goes a long way with mirrors and any extra field of view seems helpful.

I’m eagerly awaiting mine as they wind their way up to me via barge! Took 2 weeks last time to get something shipped up that way.

Yeah we'll see how I like em when I can finally go pick up the camper from the dealer. The drivers side there is definitely some more visibility, but the passenger side not so much. Maybe they'll give good visibility of things farther behind the truck.

I do find the adjustments of the mirrors with the Wolfbox glass is a bit off though, so maybe thats the issue. I can't adjust my drivers mirror out any farther as it sits. If I adjust it down it wants to pull it even closer in, if I adjust it up then I can get a little farther out wards... or maybe its the other way around... either way when middle of the road I can't turn the mirror out far enough. I'm 5'9" and after years of track days and performance driving I tend to sit a little closer to the wheel, if I were taller and/or had my seat farther back the drivers side would be at an even worse angle and there would be no correcting it.

I think if refined a little more and they would be a great product, especially for the price.


I really wish someone offered individually adjustable dual glass mirrors with standard glass on top and wide angle on the bottom. I found one company that makes this, but the design was clearly only intended for Florida styled Jeeps (meaning it's flashy ugly).

@WOLFBOX is pretty great with taking suggestions. I bet the adjustment problem is something they either didn’t know about, or have a solution for.

I don't have the BSM or turn signals. But I was thinking, if I changed glass, I'd add the turn signals. Why not add a little extra safety on the road.

That’s honestly been one of the biggest pieces of feedback we’ve gotten on the Sidetrack system too. The added side visibility is a HUGE safety improvement, especially in situations where someone is sitting slightly behind you in the next lane and can’t see the factory rear signal at all. Having the Sidetracks function as additional turn signals really helps bridge that blind spot area while also adding some extra side lighting.

you can do the sidetrack lights and also there’s the signals that go into the mirror cap. It started as an EU standard but then they started to implement it on certain US models.

It’ll have to wait for summer when the kids aren’t being driven to school and that gas gap in my cash flow is stemmed. 37” in Cali driving kids 40-45 minutes 1 way to school @$6/gallon is kind of a Jeep part fund killer.

I’m a huge fan of my DC Designs VSL lights for that reason. Amber Side turn signals and white off road lights all in one. And they look close to factory.
