Different frame, so you'd likely have to cut, modify, and fabricate a lot more than expected to get things to line up right. But probably easier than building a custom bed!

Jeep offered this with the J8 conversion for JKUs. I think it would require a custom/kit bed, and doubt the JT bed would work. Otherwise, it seems perfectly feasible.

I would watch Simone Giertz's Truckla video where she turned a Tesla 3 into a pickup. Might shed some light on the things you need to do

Yes they did Jeep made a BIG mistake, they depended upon dealers to sell it...well I headed down to my Authorized dealer their Jeep guy blew me off, I signed up for and was willing to put down money but, they never sold one, never tried to sell one. Not sure if we should blame Jeep or AEV, but getting one was next to impossible. A FEW of the big offroad shops I think got 1 early on, but for small shops like mine or individuals, it never happened.

That's what they did for the EJS concept.
It was on a JLU frame.
