Laying out the electric and solar systems. Fridge surs on the bedslide leaving a space to access whe ln I pull it out. Wife needs a stepping stool on flat ground.

Wondering if I put tilting fridge slide do the slides need the support of the tailgate when dropped down or are they self supporting?

What kind of weight has all thus added? Looking a similar setup with the Alucab canopy.

Around 650 pounds with the tent. I rotate between a rhino rack and the tent.

So far no issues.

Badass build!
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but are you asking about putting a tilting slide in? And the fridge on it? Wouldn’t it be messy to tip the fridge even if it were easier to reach?

There are a couple mgf who make tilting slides. I guess it could be messy if you didn't pack it tight.

For now I'm using a folding step stool. Need to see how much higher the slides would lift the fridge.

I guess I’ve only seen people put pelican boxes or something on tilting slides, but nothing that says it wouldn’t work with a fridge 🤷‍♂️

I think he meant there are actually fridge slides that can tilt or drop. Most fridge can tilt to about 30*. My guess is he's thinking about mounting a tilting fridge slide to his cargo slide.

It is but the price lol
Yeah, no doubt its expensive, but its the only option I have found for one that drops instead of tilts.

I've looked into this. It's definitely pricey, but on top of that, my 65L fridge needs the xlarge slide and that thing weighs 40kg/88lbs :surprised:

Took it out yesterday. The step stool takes care of the height and weighs a lot less. Might change my mind but I have other ways to spend the money an save weight lol.
