I was thinking the same if I dropped the windshield. Then I remembered all the beetles, dragon flies and bee's I ate or got my face welted riding Hardtails and Road kings to rally's all those years.

I was on the Harley with my girlfriend on the back riding out in the desert. I saw something black hovering in the air in front of me. It was like slow motion. I instinctively ducked and it hit her right in the forehead! I laughed and she married me anyway. We still talk about it, but she doesn’t laugh.

I had a low flying flock of geese.. When I went under them I must’ve impeded their lift because they dropped and the first one was clipped by the outside of my passenger side doorframe. I felt bad not anticipating this (I was just thinking they’d clear given their trajectory). But I’m glad they didn’t hit the inside of my driver side door frame.

Not Jeep related, but got hit in the arm pit by a bumblebee at 85-90 in a t-shirt on a bike. Dam near took me off the bike in pain and had a bruise for a couple weeks.

I don't ride in t-shirts any more no matter how hot it it. 😟
I was riding my Harley down a canyon road one night with my wife on the back and bat hit me in the face and got stuck between my helmet strap and my cheek!
Almost laid it down but kept it on 2 wheels while I pawed at it enough to get it out.
Freaked me out!

Fucking June bug.
Almost 2" long, and felt like a rock.

I hate those damn things.
We get a shit ton of those things here in Alabama.

Back in the day before helmet laws, I had a fly go in my mouth when I was riding my motorcycle... at least I think it's a fly.

Either way my throat was sore for a whole week.

Had my hand hit by many rocks cruising on my bike or hand out the window enjoying the air... those little rocks and pebbles hurt like hell at 65mph.
Been hit by so many things on my bikes, I can't even count.
One Friday night I was headed for the Fremont strip, when cruising was still allowed, I hit a dragonfly at 65mph.
Had green dragonfly guys all over my forehead.
Had to turn around and go home. ☹

Topless in a Jeep? Just bees or other stinging things.

On motor cycle? Couple birds, couple deer (ouch), and few times a season stinging insects. Once this guy cut me and a couple of us guys heading in to work. He had the gall then to throw a beer bottle. It hit me square in head. As luck would have it... it was a rare occasion of riding into Massachusetts, so I was wearing a helmet. Never did get retribution on that jackwad.
Are you still looking for him?

Like an elephant. Never forget or forgive... yeah, 30 years later I am still on the lookout for Jackwad. Or anyone else like him.

Didn't realize it was that long ago.
Hope you find him and get your retribution.
Thought I was the only one that could hold a grudge 30+ years (long story) 😜

At first I thought you were gonna say you were Jackwad!... I doubt I will get any retribution, maybe someone else did. I can only wish, that bastard, ill health and bad relationships in life.

Not topless but passing a lake and large flock of geese left water and flew just above. They all must have decided to dump at once, front grill and windshield covered. Total whiteout.
