Wranglers don't wave

I get about the same amount of waves whether I'm driving the JK or JT. Nor surprisingly, during my morning walks of my neighborhood, about once a week some random neighbor stops and asks me how I like the Gladiator. Folks here know I'm "the guy with the Jeep", but the Gladiator really does attract even more attention.

I have to sort of agree, when I had my JKUR I got waves. Now that I have my JT I've yet to get a wave from any Jeep

Has anyone else noticed that for the most part Wranglers don't wave back? When I was in the 17 JKUR seemed like most Wranglers waved. Now hardly any return waves.

I tend to think a wrangler driver can't even tell a JT from another wrangler fast enough to decide not to wave. Head on it is very difficult to distinguish between the two until the JT is just about gone by, before you notice it's not a wrangler.

So I don't think having a JT vs Wrangler is what's causing people not to wave.

I would say I get about 80% waves.

The bulk of the non-wavers seem to be females in going to high tea outfits. I wave anyway. Maybe they will catch on.

FACT: Not all people owning Wranglers wave.

FACT 2: Those that do wave, still wave to Gladiators.

FACT 3: I made up those facts but I think they are accurate.

Maybe I'm just Mr. Obvious, but the non-wavers usually initially don't know if your are in a JT or a Wrangler, they are just non-wavers or preoccupied with something besides waving.

Don't have my JT yet but in my JK i always get waved at...JTs...other JKs...JLs...even a few Renegades.

I don't find I get any more or less waves in the JT than I did in the JKUR. Not a lot of wavers here TBH.

In the JKUR I used to almost get tired of constantly waving. Now I wave and maybe 1 out of 6 will return the wave.

You need a bobble-head hand on the dash.............. just keeps waving as you drive.

I was behind a heavily modded Wrangler the other day and we had to do a U-Turn because road was blocked by an accident. I got a wave, and a: "I love your Gladiator". I get waves all the time when situation makes it easy for people to make eye contact. I'd say it's 75% overall here in Florida.

Still driving a JKU here in Florida. I wave at Wranglers, Gladiators, and even old Cherokees if they are lifted/modded. A few things that I have noticed:

1. Waves are more likely to be returned on a weekend.
2. Waves are more likely if I am on the island than if I am on the mainland.
3. Young females do not return the wave as often.
4. Modified Jeep drivers are more likely to return the wave.

I consider myself a "waver" but I must miss seeing other Jeeps sometimes. Then they probably think I am a non-waver.

It Is random, some Jeep owners, Wrangles or Gladiators wave and some don't and that's how it should be, I had a Wrangler and now a Gladiator and i personally don't wave either.
