Just remember to reengage them when you return to pavement!
Copy that. If I didn’t I would figure that out pretty quick.

We did a partial test on the medium sized rocks at my daughter’s house.
The rocks weren’t big enough to get the down side off the ground when locked but when they were unlocked I did feel better traction with no wheel spin on the down side.
the pics didn’t come out too good and there were a lot of weeds blocking the view.
The best pic I got was from the back and didn’t show what the front was doing.

They have bigger rock piles that I want to climb but didn’t have time to go after them today. Next week maybe.

We did do a little test on the dirt road with them unlocked to see how it rode at faster speed and you definitely see the sway through the potholes.

I like my Apex, I’m old and forgetful , just lock’em while airing up. I like the fact they stay unlocked the whole time I am off road……Jack

I have the Mopar 2" lift with the included Fox Shocks. Anyone know which size I should run?

Fitment Notes:

- If you have a 1"-2.5" lift installed with stock shocks with or without shock extension brackets and you don't have bump stop extensions installed you will need to run the 8" version (shock stroke length should not exceed 9.5").

- 1.5"-2.5" lift - If you do have at least 2" bump stop extension installed with longer travel shocks you can use the 10.5" version.

- 3" LIFT and up, use 10.5 (must have at least 2" bump stop extensions installed).

2018-2023 Sahara, Sport, and Willys models please refer to the fitment guide beforepurchasing: CLICK HERE

I’m thinking the 8” set. You can call and talk to them if you’re not sure.

This matches what I recall, just ordered a set, and noticed that they now say that the 8" version is good up to a 2" lift ( no longer 2.5" lift ). At some point, I would like to migrate to a low-lift ( not just the puck kind ), and they're usually 2.5" or more. If I do, I'll likely move the 8" strokes over to my wife's JT and order the 10.5" set.

I just got to use a 10.5" set I installed on our Gladiator Mojave for the first time today. Length is perfect for our Mojave with its Mopar lift and shock extension brackets. Articulation is pretty limited on the Mojave with its Mopar lift compared to our Rubicon JL with its Metalcloak lift, so these easily allow for the full flex this suspension is capable of. And it is now a whole lot more capable of flexing than a Mojave without disconnects.

These are the neatest thing since sliced bread. They are so easy to disconnect and reconnect again. And they really improved the slow speed ride in rocky terrain for our Mojave. I like the way they stay disconnected, instead of the constant Reconnect-disconnect-reconnect-disconnect of our Rubicon JL with its electronic nanny burdened disconnect.

The dealership had installed one on our Mojave before we bought it. I think it is a half assed suspension lift, but it is what Mopar sells. I was glad they had not replaced the stock shocks but they did not add shock extension brackets, so the stock Mojave shocks would top out frequently, even on pavement when crossing small speed bumps. Shock extension brackets from Teraflex fixed that problem. It does not include adjustable track bars, so the front axle was offset 5/8" to the left and the rear axle was offset 3/8" to the right, but those were easily corrected with Metalcloak adjustable track bars. It had the Mopar extended length lower control arms on it, which according to my tape measure were only 3/16" longer than the normal lower control arms that came off our stock JL before it was lifted. And it felt like it didn't have enough caster because it tended to wander on the highway. Again, a set of Metalcloak adjustable lower control arms fixed that problem too. It was lifted though, and it had 2" bump stop extension pucks on the axle, so give the Mopar lift credit for that at least.
