What steering did you end up going with??? I believe you ran "RPM" on your last one. Just curious, have 60's and "PSC" going on mine and haven't ordered steering yet. Any guidance would be appreciated.

On both builds I ordered the steering with the Axles. I forget what fusion uses, but it looks a lot like the RPM setup. What steering did you end up going with??? which axles do you have? Mine feel fine, but I’ve noticed the Fusion and Spicer axles use a much larger rear brake caliper which can make the brakes feel a bit ”mushy”Another question....brakes? My brakes feel like crap now. Did you do any upgrade on booster or how does yours feel?
Couple of questions for you, thoughts on the Motobilt sliders? How was the fitment and do you think they will take some abuse? Also, you mentioned some challenges with getting a driveshaft for the XD80, can you elaborate? They were bed lined along with the sliders (Line-X) If I had to do it again I wouldn't go that route as some of the tolerances make the parts difficult to install due to the thickness of the liner.
Haven’t updated in a while.
Installed a set of KBDBodykit fenders(will be switching to motobilt when the bed comes back from paint.) Fenders are nice for the price, but the lights leave a lot to be desired.
Also, Installed a DV8 bed mount carrier. While I don’t use my bed much the ability to pivot up and haul items below the spare is nice.
We removed the factory bed, chopped approx 10” from the frame and the new shortened bed is off to paint.
The lens cover didn’t fit very well, and looked/felt very cheap. The running lights were closer to blue than white. So much so a car cruising next to me at night would have a blue hue. Other than the light the fenders fit and looked great!Could you elaborate on why the fender lights leave a lot to be desired? I love the look of those as well as the road armor ones that you used on your last build. But I know you have said in other threads that you had a lot of issues with road armor. Also if you're switching to the motor built fenders are you planning to sell the ones currently on the Jeep?
Thanks! Can’t wait to pick mine up from paint tomorrow.Love your builds !! I don't want to take from your thread....but I finally got mine done. "Bobbed" (love it! It looks so much more proportional in my opinion) 40's and 1-tons.
