A question before installing. I received my NoLimitz a few days ago and right out of the shipping box the manufacture box was opened and resealed. The module has a white dot on it. Except for those two things everything looks new. This is my first time purchasing. It’s not a warranty exchange. Has anyone else received their NoLimitz in the same condition?

To reach a bigger audience I’m asking the same question on the JL Wrangler and Jeep 392 forums.

Thank Jeremy, that seems to be the consensus. The white dot is probably their way of know if a module has an updated flash.

Mainly the 1-2, 3-4 shifts were hanging or holding high revs.

I took it out for some warranty work; I blocks off the OBD2......so no scanning for codes or reflashing. Still a valuable tool, don't get me wrong

I see. I tried 2 or 3 different modules and could never get it to work. It would give errors and make the transmission buzz continuously. Once in a while I could get it to not do that but in those rare instances I never could tell a difference. And then the errors would start again. I guess I have a weird jeep.

Yeah these Jeeps are not tuner friendly like all of the GM stuff I've had over the years. So once the 3.6 takes a shit it will get an LS/LT swap.

I been having a goofy 3-4 shift for about 40k and I know it is D-clutch .. I aint got the money in my budget yet for a swap but I do have enough for another 850RE and gonna swap another in very soon .. next month or so. Almost have 124k right now so if I can get the other in it took me 4.5 yrs to get 124k so that's at least another 4.5 yrs to save up for an entire engine and transmission swap.

thinks it worth the cost for a 3.6L?
I think what all those things are good at is reading and ckearing codes changing tire sizes and gearing and enabling LED lights other than that JScan is actually more powerful a good tool.

This thread is about the nolimitz module which does none of that. It gets rid of torque management and other things. A lot more is done for the 392 but it can be used in the 3.6 and 4xe as well.

I was thinking about getting this and wanted to see of the people who did get it, if it was worth it. It seemed like there was some issues with it and wanted to see if all those had been worked out now.
