Very nice instructional video.
Thanks for watching. Hopefully this makes it easier for people looking to install this.

It will.
I’m trying to come up with a switch so I can have multiple cameras work off the “cargo cam” input.

This is something I have thought of as well. Other than looking over the bed though I haven't had a good idea for where to put one, but kind of want to keep my options open

I looking at putting a couple of cameras underneath, probably attached to the top of both diffs.
Also a couple of cameras for the sides of the truck. Not sure where yet.

That would be cool, wonder the longevity of them though being down there. The one thing that really got me thinking is how will the system react to a switch. Will it notice, or will it freak the hell out.

Interesting. Seems like the 8.4 radio and Tazer would just “see” the input and wouldn’t “know” there are multiple cameras in the switch. It just gets the RCA video input. Just have to find an RCA video switch that uses 12volt. And I’m guessing use the aux switch or some other set up for power /master switch and camera power. Good luck - very interested to see how this turns out.

Is there no way to connect the camera without having the Tazer? I received the camera for my birthday but I don’t own (have the budget for) a Tazer.

As far as I know, you need a Taser. It tricks the head unit into using the Ram styled bed cam input. Good luck!

Jscan can be used to enable the Cargo Camera input for the camera.
