Time to trade at least 5K ago, according to my wife. She's bothered I have so many miles on my JT at this point, not even a year, 9600 miles.
Good excuse to trade in a couple of years I guess LOL.

She's trading her current GC with 13,500 on it.
Spencer is getting a great Grand Cherokee, all he's going to have to do is list it when we take it up there. We're having any warranty issues taken care of before he gets it. I might even vacuum it out and wash it up for him.

35,000 mile update. No issues and still enjoying the Gladiator. The last oil change was done after most of the miles were accumulated towing my camp trailer, about 5500 lbs., around and over the mountains of California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Oregon. The oil analysis report from Blackstone Laboratories included this notation,
“It looks this Gladiator's engine wasn't bothered by the hard use over the last
~7,044 miles. In fact, wear metals are at their lowest levels on the page! Of course, some of the metal (and silicon) in previous samples was from break-in, so now we're just getting a cleaner look at how the engine is really doing. But these excellent results show that towing on mountain roads didn't cause excess wear. The oil's viscosity tested in the correct range for 0W/20, and no contamination was found. Looking good at 32,669 miles!”

So, quick question...how many Gladiators are out there that have not had any issues with engine misfiring?

There are a ton of people on here that have the issue, nearly zero that have been able to get it fixed and many that ended up in the buy-back/lemon law process. Hell, there's even one that Lemon Law'd due to misfire...got a new one and is having the same issue.

I had read about it, figured "there's a ton out there that perfectly fine, it's just a vocal couple with the issue" Then my parents purchased a Gladiator....sure enough...engine misfire...same process I read about...and ended up Lemon Law.

With this thread I'm just trying to convince myself to give it another shot. For them...and the Gladiator I ordered and am waiting on.

Zero issues from purchase 9-1-19, 28,500 miles. Third penestar I’ve owned, one bad spark plug quickly diagnosed and resolved. Just to be clear, the bad plug was on my WK not my Gladiator.

Mine as well. Not a single issue. No MIL, no misfire, no engine-related issues at all.

There are a ton of people on here that have the issue, nearly zero that have been able to get it fixed
Again, not true. It would take hours or days to read every single post out there about misfires, but no small number have reported back that cam swaps and other fixes HAVE resolved the misfire. I've followed this since I became a member here. If misfire is mentioned, I've tried to watch for those and read 'em. As a mechanic myself (not on modern vehicles, but the basics are the same) I have great interest in these matters, and it's not true that "nearly zero" have been able to get it fixed.
My wife has had several Grand Cherokees with the 3.6, only one had misfires and it was a known issue with the 2021 - and SPARK PLUGS. Dealer took care of it after I gave them a very detailed diagnostic file.
My JT has over 20,000 miles and as far as engine, zero issues. No leaks, no misfires.
My only issues have been steering (resolved) tonneau cover (resolved) and the trailer brake controller issue where using the manual button sent shivers down the spine of the truck - (resolved via an ASB module flash.)

Again, we're in the hospital, the oncology ward, looking for people who have fully recovered from cancer.
Few people go to the internet to talk about their trouble-free vehicle, OTOH, misery loves company.

Purchased (leased) 5/15/21: 7400 miles with zero issues. 1 oil change so far. Only problem is I'm over 1000 miles over my allotted amount for the lease so far, but let's face it: There is no way I will turn in back in. (Will definitely buy it out from Jeep when the time comes.)
