Local station said we've be in an ideal place - looking at the norther sky - nothing. Just the moon and stars. No color.
Supposedly between 9pm and 3am according to the local news - as usual, they are wrong.

I find it ironic to think that we may be too far north!
Was just out, looked all directions. The sky isn't as "black" as I'd expect it this time of night, but there's a crescent moon out and I can see the stars so there's no clouds in the way.

I'm in the same boat. Nothing at all. not even a shimmer of light. But, directly across the river a large hill starts and peaks at 1.5 miles from me with over 2200' gain. So prospects seeing anything from home is 0. Sucks. I have wanted to see them so bad for the last 10+ years.

Even if you’re not seeing anything with your naked eye, try taking a picture of the sky with your phone. The camera can be more sensitive and enhance the brightness over a longer exposure. Reading up on aurora hunting a while back, I learned that it’s rarely as spectacular with the naked eye as pictures make it look.
