So the nutserts from McMaster worked fine but I would suggest getting a wrench on the back side of them when using an impact.
The metal was soft enough that I had two of them "round out" and had to extract them. I had a third start to, got a wrench on the back of it and worked great.

All in spent less than $150, not a bad upgrade
You used an impact to set them??

There are often you get what you pay for things involved. Jerry's description and then finding they are soft....I'll stick with the mopar parts. Far better quality. The finish on the mopar nutserts is really pretty good and looks to be cad not zinc.
I have to agree with you here. I didn't worry about it too much about it since I will be switching bumpers in the next year or two. If I was leaving it on long term I would probably get the Mopar pieces.

That said once installed the McMaster parts work great functionally and I covered everything in fluid film ?

I used an impact on low to take up most of the slack and then finished with a ratchet and socket.

I found using ratchet/socket held the piece in the frame and had no trouble but then the MOPAR pieces are impressively tough. I didn't like the thought of the back and forth of an impact. It's a hammering action I was afraid would keep banging the hex against the frame hole - LOL - sounds like maybe my reasoning was not bad on that one.

I used MOPAR nutserts on my Willy's and used a impact with no issue in setting them.
