I had them eat a part of my painted fenders while I was away one day. I was able to fix them though.

Do you find any drain on the batteries with this?

In the past I've had mice and rats get under hoods of multiple cars. Since I started using these devices on all my vehicles none have been back.

When I lived in Germany we had these mongoose looking animals called Marten's. They loved to demolish wiring and hood insulation. I had to buy a Marten mat that gave those little suckers a 240V surprise. Essentially this weird mat you parked over, but it solved the issue over night. Might be something to look into.

Only if I don't drive for 2-3 weeks. But I guess that also depends on the condition of your battery. I'm running these devices on three of my vehicles now without any rodents in almost 4 years now. My gladiator I only drive 1-2 times weekly and haven't had any battery issues so far.

I used something like that in my pantry for years. We found mice in the house every once in a while and dealt with them, but we never found mice in our pantry.

I only drive my Jeep on the weekends. If I do this I would also consider solar charging to compensate.

I hate when you get under your Jeep and there are two eyes staring back at you...

This would send me into all out war! My dog is already at war with the squirrels... I even helped him get one one time (damn thing ran right at me and met my boot). Might need to get out the trash can full of water and bird seed that helped me with my chipmunk problem.

Got a washer fluid low warning and when I popped the hood I found the in-

flight tray (battery cover) had been put to use by my furry friends. I wasn't planning to post anything but then I saw a bunch of folks with the exact issue on a Gladiator Facebook group... Not sure if it's the space available, warmth or what but pop your hood often if you have tree rats around.
I shoot them when i get the chance. They are vermins not cute animals labeled by tree huggers.

Not a Jeep or a squirrel, but I recently had somewhat the same thing happen when I was working on my Honda ATV. Scared the shit out of me, he really enjoyed gnawing on the wires.
